App Settings

App Settings

The app settings page provides a number of options regarding your app. These settings are broken into 4 submenus, each of which is explained in detail below.

General Settings

The general settings page contains some basic information about your app. From here, you can make changes to the app description, app thumbnail and app link which are all seen by Asset Layer users. You also have the option of activating or deactivating your app, which will determine whether or not other users are able to access it.

Manage Permission Settings

The "manage permissions settings" page allows you to set default permissions for how your app will interact with other apps/assets. The default read permissions (first option) determines whether or not a permission request is needed to read from your app.

App Handles - Functionality Coming Soon

The "app handles" page allows you to connect your authorized Handcash Handles to your application.

Clicking the "Add Handle" button will allow you to select from any of the previous authorized Handcash Handles for your account.

Developer Settings

The developer settings page allows you to access important information for the developers of your app. The App Secret can be found on this page and can be reset to a new string if your current app secret has been compromised.
